**Job Description:**

The Data Analyst supports data collection and analysis efforts for monitoring the implementation of a government program related to the care and placement of participants in a network of grant-funded care providers.

**Duties include:**

• Work with contractor and federal staff to enhance data collection and analysis.
• Update and develop on-site data collection tools to yield reliable and informative data for program assessments.
• Assist in identifying performance outcomes and indicators.
• Identify uniform data points for analysis.
• Conduct high-level data interpretation and analysis using analytics platforms.
• Prepare summaries and presentations of data analysis results for agency leadership.
• Provide ad-hoc data reports as needed.
• Oversee the quality and production of analytical reports.
• Train staff on data collection and analysis tools.
• Support projects for continual improvement of data analysis.
• Visualize data using platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
• Build data repositories and databases.

**Qualifications:**

• Active Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in data interpretation and analysis; 3 years with a Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of data visualization platforms (Tableau or Power BI) and scripting languages (R, Python).
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Advanced skills in Excel and VBA.
• Exceptional analytic skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with immigrants, refugees, and underserved populations is preferred.
• Knowledge in statistical analysis, natural language processing, data engineering, and working with large datasets is preferred.

This position is remote, with potential requirements to work from an office later. Location preference is Washington, DC, but not mandatory. Must hold or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Salary range is approximately $91,811 - $105,800, based on experience and location.
