Summary

The Data Quality Analyst monitors and assesses the accuracy and integrity of data within the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). Collaborating with EDW and Business Intelligence Teams, the analyst will design, review, and refine data quality reports and alerts, taking corrective actions as needed. The role involves partnering with EDW Development Teams to ensure proper data quality checks are integrated into code and testing, and escalating issues to leadership when necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Assess current data quality in EDW through profiling.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on data quality improvement goals.
  • Identify solutions for data quality issues to meet targets.
  • Implement improvements across relevant teams.
  • Monitor ongoing data quality levels.
  • Maintain data quality to support business processes.
  • Proactively resolve and escalate data issues.
  • Collaborate with other analysts and data governance teams.
  • Escalate issues beyond scope to leadership.
  • Influence business process changes to improve data quality.
  • Develop and execute data quality metrics and audits.
  • Create and monitor alerts for potential issues.
  • Report data quality metrics regularly.
  • Engage leadership to demonstrate business impact of data issues.
  • Follow methodologies for data quality projects.
  • Participate in designing data applications and integrations.
  • Promote successes to increase organizational engagement.

Minimum Requirements
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in data quality analysis, process improvements, stakeholder engagement, or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Snowflake, MS Azure, SQL, healthcare data, and data quality initiatives.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Understanding of data warehousing principles.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and data reporting.
