Job summary

Oliver Healthcare Packaging seeks a data-driven analyst to drive BI and analytics initiatives across the organization. You will build tools, maintain data integrity, and support forecasting and decision-making.

You will partner with business leaders to develop analytics, deploy tools, train users, and monitor data harmony across global facilities. Strong SQL, BI tool expertise, and Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with database applications, reporting, and analysis.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely for business users.
  • Strong communication skills across the organization.
  • Experience with Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud or similar BI tools.

  • Track New and At-Risk Business and provide scenario insights.

  • Lead information management projects focusing on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support S&OP process and propose improvements for visibility.
  • Create standards and procedures for organizational data management.
  • Provide data such as material usage and CRM-based sales lists.
  • Administer Sales Team variable compensation calculations.
  • Complete ad-hoc intelligence and data mining requests.

Job description

Drive business intelligence and analytics across Oliver Healthcare Packaging by building tools, improving data integrity, and supporting forecasting and decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and maintain intelligence and analytics tools and KPIs.
  • Deploy analytics tools and train business users on how to use them.
  • Support the forecasting process by helping drive the commercial team’s sales forecast.
  • Track New and At-Risk Business and provide insight based on scenarios created throughout forecasting.
  • Monitor data integrity and initiate processes to improve data harmony across Oliver facilities globally.
  • Lead information management projects focused on accuracy, access, and process efficiency.
  • Facilitate and drive the S&OP process; identify risks needing increased visibility and propose process improvements.
  • Create standards and procedures for organizational data management.
  • Support business data needs by providing information such as material usage and sales or customer lists from CRM.
  • Administer Sales Team variable compensation calculations.
  • Complete ad-hoc intelligence and data mining requests as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Finance (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience working with database applications, reporting, and analysis.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business users across the organization.
  • Ability to speak clearly, present information, and respond to questions with clarity and concision.
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and research skills.
  • Experience with Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, or a similar business intelligence tool.
  • Strong mathematical foundation.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office, with Excel specifically.
  • Deep experience with enterprise and database applications; report writing know-how is a plus.
