Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Analytics Solutions professional to develop and deploy self-service analytics for sales and leadership. You will translate business priorities into effective dashboards using Tableau/Power BI and build data structures for multi-source exploration in a cloud environment.

The role requires 2–4 years in analytics solutions, strong SQL and data transformation skills, and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience developing Analytics Solutions.
• Experience building visualizations with Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficiency with data transformation tools such as Alteryx or Dataiku.
• Experience leveraging cloud infrastructure including writing SQL queries.

• Support development and deployment of analytics solutions to enable self-service for sales and leadership.
• Determine best solutions from stakeholder requirements and priorities.
• Create, improve, and maintain Tableau dashboards from Financial and Operations metrics.
• Share solutions and knowledge within the organization to uplift capabilities.
• Develop data structures to combine datasets for multi-faceted exploration and dashboards.
• Manage deployment through standard work, training, and ongoing support for business teams.
• Operate in an agile fashion delivering regular demos to customers.
• Drive analytics standards and best practices.
• Develop and present complex, customized findings to senior leadership and field offices.

What you will do:

• Support development and deployment of best-in-class analytics solutions to enable simplified self-service capabilities by sales and functional leadership.
• Understand business priorities and stakeholder requirements to determine the best solution to meet their needs.
• Create, improve, and maintain Tableau dashboards using leading and lagging indicators from Financial and Operations metrics.
• Share solutions and critical thinking techniques within organization to enhance knowledge and ability across Enterprise.
• Develop data structures required to combine multiple data sets to allow for multi-faceted data exploration and performance dashboards.
• Manage deployment of analytics solutions through standard work development, training sessions, and ongoing support for business teams.
• Operate in an agile fashion to deliver regular “demos” to the customer.
• Drive and document analytics standards and best practices.
• Develop and present complex, customized presentations of findings to senior leadership and field offices.

What you will bring:

• Undergraduate Degree in business or related field (Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology / Statistics / Finance / Economics / etc.), or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate solutions from the customer’s viewpoint.
• 2-4 years of experience developing Analytics Solutions.
• Experience building visualizations using Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficiency with data transformation with tools such as Alteryx or Dataiku highly desired or willingness to learn.
• Experience leveraging cloud infrastructure including writing SQL queries.

• Demonstrated ability to apply the right tool to the problem at hand, with consideration given to future enhancements and alternative audiences.
• Willingness to learn new tools and techniques to grow into Advanced Analytics space.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $72,611.66 - $101,394.99 Compensation Type: Salary Incentive Eligible: No Sales Commission Eligible: No Disclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
