Join Trane Technologies’ Commercial HVAC Data and Analytics team and help turn analytics into self-service experiences for sales and functional leadership. This hybrid role in Davidson, NC blends dashboarding, solution development, and agile delivery, with opportunities to apply your analytical thinking across enterprise reporting and decision support.

Compensation: $72,611.66 - $101,394.99 per year (salary). Work model: Monday to Thursday onsite, with flexibility on Fridays based on your work needs. In-office days run Monday through Thursday, and Fridays are available for work from another location.

What You’ll Do

• Support the development and deployment of best-in-class analytics solutions that enable simplified self-service capabilities for business teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business priorities and requirements, then determine the most effective solution to meet their needs.
• Create, improve, and maintain Tableau dashboards using leading and lagging indicators from Financial and Operations metrics.
• Develop and maintain the data structures needed to combine multiple datasets for multi-faceted exploration and performance dashboards.
• Manage analytics solution deployment through standard work development, training sessions, and ongoing support for business teams.
• Work in an agile environment, including delivering regular demos to customers.
• Drive and document analytics standards and best practices across the organization.
• Develop and present complex, customized presentations of findings to senior leadership and field offices.
• Share solutions and critical thinking techniques to strengthen organizational knowledge and capability.

What You Bring

• Undergraduate degree in business or a related field (Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology/Statistics/Finance/Economics, etc.), or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of experience developing analytics solutions.
• Experience building visualizations with Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong proficiency with data transformation using tools such as Alteryx or Dataiku (highly desired) or willingness to learn.
• Experience leveraging cloud infrastructure, including writing SQL queries.
• Strong analytic and critical thinking skills, including understanding how new information affects current and future decisions.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure research and analysis objectives align with implementation action plans.
• Ability to wrangle and mine data to provide customer insights.
• Capability to create meaningful, easily interpretable data visualizations.
• Ability to choose the right tools for the problem while considering future enhancements and alternative audiences.
• Willingness to learn new tools and techniques to grow into advanced analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
