Job summary

Federal Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst in Springfield, VA to support a government client with TS/SCI clearance. You will apply analytics, segment customers, and join disparate data sets to derive actionable insights.

You will work with tools like SPSS, SAS, MATLAB, Tableau, and MS Office, develop algorithms, and help move new capabilities into operation while collaborating on technical teams.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with MS Office, data mining, ability to develop and manipulate, and maintain databases.
• Experience using SPSS, SAS, MATLAB, MS Office and Access, and the Windows operating environment.
• Experience with software for advanced statistical analysis and Tableau for data visualization.
• Ability to develop mathematical algorithms and applications in response to complex requirements.
• Ability to identify systems enhancements and new capabilities, concept demonstrators, capability business cases.
• Ability to provide training as new systems and capabilities move into operational use.
• Ability to take leadership roles on technical teams or consortiums.
• Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities and/or Success Factors:

Minimum Qualifications Including Certificates:

• Familiarity with MS Office, data mining, ability to develop and manipulate, and maintain databases.
• Demonstrated experience using COTS statistical software (SPSS, SAS, MatLab ), COTS desktop software (MS Office and Access), and the Windows operating environment.
• Demonstrated experience with software packages used for advanced statistical analysis of operational data and tools for data visualization (Tableau).
• Ability to develop mathematical algorithms and applications in response to complex requirements.
• Ability to identify systems enhancements and new capabilities, concept demonstrators, capability business cases.
• Ability to provide training as new systems and capabilities move into operational use.
• Ability to take leadership roles on technical teams or consortiums.
• Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills and an ability to work cooperatively and effectively as a team member.
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with/on certification programs and policy development.
