Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure the GEOINT certification process is administered consistently, securely, and per DoD Manual 3305.10 guidelines.
• Protect the security of candidate records, scores, and certification documents.
• Track candidates from request to certification and report to DoD Components.
• Define data maintenance policies and establish GEOINT access needs and “need to know” criteria.
• Provide supporting documentation as part of the Project Documentation Deliverable (PDD).
• Ensure requirements align with DITEB Guide considerations for certification programs.
• Design the system of record to serve as the Candidate Management component in the DITEB guide.
• Develop and coordinate processes for DoD Component annual reports on GEOINT accreditation and certification.
• Collect and disseminate GEOINT Certification Program information with NSG members and DoD Components.
• Collect metrics for DoD Component GEOINT Certification statuses for annual USD(I) reporting.
• Integrate NGA and DoD Component reports into a comprehensive assessment package for Director NGA and DNI.

We are looking for a Strategic Initiative Officer to work in Springfield, VA supporting our client.

Clearance: TS/SCI

Responsibilities and/or Success Factors:

• Ensure the application process for GEOINT certification that is administered in a consistent, accessible, and secure manner and complies with the guidelines and procedures outlined in DoD Manual 3305.10.
• The security of candidate records, scores, and certification and decertification documents.
• The Candidates are tracked from initial request to certification and information is reported to the DoD Components.
• Ensure data maintenance policies clearly define and establish “need to know” criteria and GEOINT-related system access requirements.
• Supporting documentation of the process will be included as part of the PDD.
• Ensure requirement will be in accordance with the considerations listed in the DITEB Guide for the Development and Management of a Nationally Accredited Professional Certification Program.
• This system of record should also be designed to serve as the Candidate Management component in the DITEB guide.
• Establish and coordinate a process for developing, reviewing, and endorsing each DoD Component’s Annual Report on GEOINT Accreditation and Certification.
• Establish and implement a process for collecting and disseminating GEOINT Certification Program information from and to NSG members and DoD Components.
• Collect metrics for each DoD Component’s GEOINT Certification Program status for inclusion in an annual report to the USD(I).
• Integrate NGA and DoD Components’ Annual Reports on GEOINT Accreditation and Certification into a comprehensive assessment and evaluation package for submission to the Director, NGA, and subsequent delivery to the DNI.

Minimum Qualifications Including Certificates:
