Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Data & AI Solutions Engineering Summer Scholar to tackle data-driven challenges at the intersection of AI engineering, data infrastructure, and forward deployment. You will help operationalize intelligence through platforms, automation, and integrated deployment for real client impact.

You will work across AI engineering, advertising/marketing, regulatory risk, and strategy domains, gaining hands-on experience with data pipelines, ML workflows, and deployment strategies

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Spring/Summer 2028 pursuing a bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Data Analytics, MIS, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related program.
• Strong academic track record (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
• Experience or coursework in data processing and analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Informatica), and familiarity with analytics, data visualization, or big data platforms (Tableau, Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work and clients served.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment.
• You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily.

Responsibilities

• Work at the intersection of AI engineering, data infrastructure, and forward deployment to deliver data-driven client solutions.
• Build data pipelines and platforms to scale AI deployment.
• Deploy and govern AI workflows with human checkpoints and audit trails.
• Collaborate with Deloitte teams and client stakeholders to implement data-driven solutions.
• Contribute to design and deployment of agentic AI systems that observe, decide, and act with autonomy and alignment.
