Job summary

Further is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to independently own mid-sized client projects from kickoff through delivery. You'll build the plan, lead the team, manage the budget, and serve as the primary operational contact for the client.

This role emphasizes proactive risk management, maintaining scope, quality, and client confidence. You'll apply Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methods as appropriate, improve templates and processes, and help the team work more efficiently across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing projects end to end in client services, consulting, or agency environments.
• PMP, CSM, PSA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Experience with project management software (Jira/Smartsheet/Asana).
• Exposure to PSA platforms like Contada/Mavenlink/Certinia/HubSpot/Box.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to lead without direct authority and drive client success.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute. Create and manage the detailed project plan with scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
• Manage the project team. Assign tasks, clarify responsibilities, remove roadblocks, ensure role clarity.
• Own client communication. Provide clear status updates and manage expectations throughout the engagement.
• Manage risk proactively. Identify risks, document issues, and implement mitigation plans.
• Own delivery quality. Ensure deliverables meet SOW requirements and corporate standards.
• Improve how we work. Contribute to templates, processes, and ways of working across projects.
