Salas O'Brien is seeking a Data & AI Product Manager to shape strategy, roadmap, and adoption for enterprise data products. You will partner with engineering, define requirements, and manage backlogs while delivering measurable value across business units.

This remote, US-based role offers collaboration with governance and leadership, enabling data-driven decision making and impactful outcomes across projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product ownership or management for data/AI products delivered to production.
• Experience writing clear backlogs and acceptance criteria that align engineering and business stakeholders.
• Hands-on SQL and familiarity with modern data platform concepts and data quality management.
• Proven experience defining product success metrics and communicating progress to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Shape the product vision and roadmap, keeping current business needs and platform capabilities in mind.
• Manage and prioritize the backlog, and write clear requirements for engineering teams.
• Make prioritization decisions, balancing immediate needs with future opportunities and stakeholder tradeoffs.
• Guide delivery cadence with the engineering pod, including refinement and sprint planning.
• Define success measures and report adoption, value, and product performance.
• Support adoption by engaging early users and collaborating with enablement teams.
