Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking a motivated Co-Op student to join the Operations Data & AI Enablement team in Atlanta. You will contribute to building data foundations, pipelines, and analytics to support OPS planning and performance.

You will work closely with analytics professionals across cross-divisional areas, participate in three alternating semesters, and relocate if needed with housing stipends; strong programming, SQL, and ETL skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Undergraduate program pursuing a 4-year degree in CS, Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or similar.
• Available for three alternating semesters for full-time work.
• Ability to report in-person to Delta’s World Headquarters (Atlanta, GA) or relocate each semester with housing stipends.
• Team oriented and willing to adopt continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data management & enablement functions and programming basics.
• Proficiency in Python or similar languages and in SQL/ETL patterns.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis concepts.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analytics professionals across operations to support data foundations and AI enablement.
• Participate in cross-divisional focus areas: aircraft, airport, crew, disruption, and operations performance.
• Assist in building data pipelines, data quality improvements, and analytics workflows.
• Contribute to designing and delivering analytical products and digital decision tools.
• Support ongoing learning and adaptation during alternating semesters.
