American Electric Power in Columbus, OH is seeking a Financial Analyst for Data & AI to lead financial forecasting across large programs, develop budgets, and manage monthly forecasts and accruals to deliver accurate cost visibility.

You will coordinate with finance, procurement, and program teams, monitor vendor invoices, ensure correct coding of capital and O&M, and provide executives with timely, comparable portfolio reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business or related field.
• Or Associate's degree in computer science or related field with 2 years relevant work experience.
• Or High school diploma/GED with 4 years relevant work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead financial forecasting across large programs with budget, monthly forecasts and accruals.
• Analyze variances against plan and monitor vendor spend.
• Manage invoices, verify hours, rates, and SOWs.
• Set up project codes and roll up program financials to portfolio.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement and program leads to keep spending on budget.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in computer science / information systems / business

Associate's degree in computer science or related field with 2 years' experience

High school diploma/GED with 4 years' experience
