Job description

CO2 emissions in the real estate sector must be reduced quickly. But what is not measured cannot be controlled in a targeted manner: Our live data on consumption and generation in properties enables the most effective use of electricity, gas, heat and water in everyday life. We are a young Berlin scale-up that supports sustainability and also lives it in our day-to-day business. We are looking for a Data Administrator (m/f/x) in Berlin or Heidelberg at the earliest possible date.

You will ensure that complex data streams, customer changes and master data are processed accurately within our systems. We’ll introduce you to the specifics of the energy industry, and you’ll contribute your organisational skills, attention to detail and enthusiasm to help develop operational standards within a growing scale-up.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for the daily, precise entry, verification, and correction of measurement and master data, ensuring consistently high data quality.
  • You will thoroughly familiarize yourself with our specialized, in-house management system and use it to manage all administrative change and registration processes.
  • You’ll check data for plausibility, identify discrepancies or data entry errors, and resolve outstanding issues in a structured manner.
  • You’ll serve as the reliable point of contact for external partners, service providers, and network operators regarding questions about data records and missing documents.
  • You bring structure to unfinished workflows, document best practices for data management, and actively help develop clear checklists for the team.
Profile
  • You have successfully completed a business or technical apprenticeship or a college degree, as well as at least 2–3 years of professional experience in operational back-office functions, data management, customer service, or logistics.
  • You’re interested in making a career change into the energy industry and aren’t intimidated by regulated markets or complex processes.
  • You keep a cool head even when facing a heavy workload, tight deadlines, or bureaucratic inquiries, and you prioritize your tasks independently.
  • You enjoy helping to design new workflows and take pleasure in establishing initial standards, checklists, and processes within the data team at a growing scale-up.
  • You are completely confident and experienced in using Excel, ERP/CRM systems, and digital tools (e.g., Monday.com).
  • You are fluent in German (min. C1) and have a good command of English (min. B2).
What we offer
  • A job that lays the foundations for using energy and water sustainably and consciously.
  • Permanent position with a fixed salary of between EUR 45 - 55 thousand.
  • Flexible trust-based working hours, part-time option, at least two days of mobile working per week, individual training plan and regular feedback meetings.
  • Germany ticket or job bike, as well as an office with very good public transport connections.
  • A green and dog-friendly office, terrace, free drinks and ice cream.
  • Complete technical equipment.
  • 30 vacation days/year.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Family-friendly approach to reporting short-term illnesses in children.
