Job summary

A technology infrastructure company in South Carolina is seeking an experienced Access Control Technician to install card access systems for various clients. Responsibilities include installation, testing, and maintenance of systems. The ideal candidate must have strong computer skills, teamwork orientation, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for an associate degree. Qualifications

• Ability to work with all departments internally.
• Valid in-state Driver's License and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Install various components of a DAS/BDA system.
• Interpret design drawings and blueprints.
• Prepare, terminate, and secure various types of cables.
• Perform testing to verify signal strength and functionality.
• Conduct maintenance and periodic inspections.

Skills

Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and web-based applications

Teamwork oriented with mentoring skills

Strong customer service and organizational skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associates or Tech School degree preferred
