Job summary

Integrated Technology & Security LLC is seeking an Access Control Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will install, configure, and maintain access control systems, including card readers and electronic locks, while following safety protocols on active job sites.

Qualifications

• Must have troubleshooting skills for access control devices, control panels, wiring, and software-related issues.
• Preventive maintenance skills to schedule, perform, and document routine inspections and servicing of access control systems.
• Ability to configure, adjust, and verify proper operation of sensors, readers, and system components.
• Electrical knowledge including low-voltage wiring, basic electrical theory, and safe work practices.
• Experience with access control platforms, CCTV integration, or building automation is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturer documentation.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and safety on active construction sites and occupied facilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Role Description

The Access Control Technician is a full-time, on-site role. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining access control systems, including card readers, panels, electronic locks, and related hardware. Day-to-day tasks include performing system checks, diagnosing and resolving equipment and wiring issues, and executing preventive maintenance to ensure reliable system performance. The technician will interpret technical drawings and documentation, coordinate with project managers and other trades on active job sites, and provide user support and training for access control systems. The role also includes documenting work performed, following safety and security protocols, and supporting upgrades, expansions, and integrations with CCTV and other security systems.

• Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to schedule, perform, and document routine inspections, testing, and servicing of access control systems.

• Relevant experience with access control platforms, electronic security systems, CCTV integration, or building automation is beneficial.
