Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs to deliver personalized in-home care across Indiana. Paid training is provided for those not yet certified, with competitive weekly pay and a supportive team environment.

You'll assist with daily living activities, monitor safety, document care, and report changes to supervisors while maintaining patient dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws (training provided)
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• Preferred: current CPR certification
• Preferred: current tuberculosis (TB) test

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure patient safety
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required
• Monitor and record patient temperature
• Assist patients with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter‑writing and reading
