Qualifications

• 3–5+ years professional experience in video editing for digital media or entertainment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro with solid editing fundamentals and media organization.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop for basic motion graphics and visual enhancements.
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and music-driven editing.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with producers, editors, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging video content for festivals, brand marketing, trailers, social media, and promotional campaigns.
• Assemble and cut footage into clean, compelling edits that follow creative direction, music pacing, and brand style.
• Organize project media, timelines, and assets to maintain efficient post-production workflows.
• Collaborate with producers, senior editors, and marketing teams to implement notes and refine edits through multiple review rounds.
• Execute basic finishing tasks including music syncing, sound design, simple motion graphics integration, and preparing cuts for review.
• Create versions of edits for multiple formats and platforms (16:9, 9:16, 4:3, square, etc.).
• Maintain organized project files and prepare deliverables for archiving, publishing, and handoff to other teams.
• Assist with asset preparation, media exports, and other post-production tasks as needed to support larger editorial projects.
