Job summary

New York City Ballet is looking for a part-time Coordinator for the New York Choreographic Institute in New York, NY. This role assists both the Managing Director and Artistic Director with operational and programmatic functions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, at least two years of arts administration experience, and knowledge of ballet.

The Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating residency programs, arranging travel logistics, and maintaining social media presence, among other duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about the arts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in arts administration.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during flagship residency sessions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Residency programs, off‑site partnerships, and Symposia.
• Maintain NYCI’s social media presence.
• Help manage the NYCI budget and ensure timely payments.

Skills

Knowledge of ballet and choreography

Project management experience
