VASA Fitness is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor for Dance Formats in Waterloo, IA. This role requires high energy, strong instructional skills, and a commitment to an inclusive member experience.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year experience in personal, small group or group fitness.
• NCCA-accredited personal/group fitness certification.
• Knowledge of kinesiology and exercise science.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Must hold current format certification.
• Yoga certification (200 or 500 hour)
• Cycle certifications (Schwinn/Spinning/AFAA)
• Passionate about fitness and helping others reach goals.
• Promotes upbeat, enthusiastic, high-energy environment.
• Experience leading group classes; local travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional fitness experiences in studio classes.
• Lead and motivate participants with clear instruction and options for all levels.
• Ensure safety and proper form in every exercise.
• Prepare and sanitize studio before and after classes.
• Deliver excellent customer service and engage with members.
