Job summary

92NY’s Harkness Dance Center invites a Program Manager for the Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) to elevate professional learning for educators and artists across New York City and beyond. The role coordinates with multiple departments to streamline projects intersecting program areas and supports DEL’s workshops, courses, and institutes.

The successful candidate will bring a Bachelor’s in Dance (Master’s preferred), DEL experience, and 3+ years in arts administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dance or Dance Education required or equivalent
• Master’s in Dance Education preferred
• DEL-trained preferred
• 3+ years in arts administration or education setting
• Experience with inquiry-based learning and pedagogy
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with NYC DOE systems and school partnerships
• Proficiency with common software tools (G Suite, MS Office, Zoom)

Responsibilities

• Support administrative duties for DEL workshops, courses, and institutes
• Review Tessitura and Traction to track registrations
• Create event bulletins and rosters
• Draft Letters of Agreement and Scope of Work with Legal
• Coordinate LMS content design and resources library initiative
• Assist with DOE contractual programs and partnerships
• Brand and promote DEL programming nationally and globally
• Coordinate on- and off-site DEL events and Summer programs
• Support evaluation tools for program impact and feedback
• Maintain relationships with peer cultural arts organizations
• Coordinate photography and videography for DEL events
• Communicate with DEL patrons to support registration and experience
