Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos is seeking an outgoing bartender to provide a Damn Good guest experience. You’ll handle cocktails, offer menu recommendations, and maintain a clean, efficient bar area while keeping safety standards.

This onsite position requires flexibility and a friendly, team-focused attitude. The role emphasizes guest interaction, recipe adherence, and collaboration with staff to ensure smooth service and high guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred
• A current required state alcohol-server license (e.g., TABC, TIPS, ABLE)
• Open to varied work schedules and hours depending on business needs
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels

Responsibilities

• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and outgoing manner, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Cocktail Preparation: Mix and serve cocktails following Torchy’s recipes, maintaining quality and consistency.
• Menu Knowledge: Learn the menu and be able to make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
• Service Excellence: Provide prompt and efficient service, handling orders accurately and ensuring guests have what they need.
• Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and organized, restocking supplies as needed and adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
