Spire Inc. is offering a Damage Prevention Intern position in Saint Louis, MO. The role provides hands-on project work, exposure to field and office operations, and mentoring within the natural gas sector.

Ideal candidates are enrolled undergrad students or graduates returning to school in fall 2027, with a 3.0 GPA, and a willingness to participate in onboarding and poster symposium. This paid internship runs through the summer, with 35–40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 35 - 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship.
• Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required with most positions.
• Must participate in All Inclusive Onboarding and Project Poster Symposium

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete projects based on departmental needs
• Build Cost Sheets for repairs related to third party damages
• Invoice repair bills through our CC&B system
• Record and close out reports for payments received
• Coordinate training meetings with contractors and municipalities
• Participate in damage prevention training to in-house crews and service technicians
• All other duties as assigned
