Spire Inc. seeks an enthusiastic student or recent graduate for an internship in Standards & Procedures. You will gain real-world experience by supporting material catalogs, updating procedures, and researching innovative gas distribution equipment.

You’ll collaborate with the Standards Team, contribute to company-wide standards, and develop practical skills in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. The internship is based in Birmingham, AL with hybrid work options.

Qualifikationen

• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate rising junior, senior or graduate level student in fall 2027 pursuing an engineering, business administration, or another related degree.
• Must be able to work 35–40 hours per week throughout the summer internship.
• Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Must participate in All Inclusive Onboarding and Project Poster Symposium.

Spire is seeking an enthusiastic, career minded student or recent graduate to join our operations across our regions. Our paid internship position affords students the opportunity to gain real-world experience to help put what they have learned in class into action. As an Intern, you may complete various projects and perform administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned department and natural gas industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Take photos and/or use of intranet to update materials pictures and descriptions in the current Material Catalog.
• Work with the Standards Team to finalize company-wide Standards and Procedures in Word.
• Work with the Standards/MTTE (materials, tools, technology, equipment) Team to research innovative natural gas distribution equipment that will have the latest technology making it more efficient.
