Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; five years of experience in natural gas construction or damage prevention.
• Must obtain and maintain Operator Qualifications (OQs) and required training within six months; valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey technical information to internal and external customers.
• Ability to utilize company web resources for data entry, reference, and retrieval tasks.
• Outdoor work in all weather; physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds; standing, bending, and climbing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pipeline crossings by third-parties.
• Works with crews and outside contractors to arrange excavations for damage prevention.
• Conducts investigations of natural gas facility damages and follows through to resolution.
• Reviews and reconciles invoices.
• Maintains accuracy of maps and records related to damage prevention.
• Maintains safe operation and inspection of company vehicles and equipment.
• May require stand-by duty, work shifts, holidays, weekends, and extended hours.
