Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of experience in natural gas construction, damage prevention or related field.
• Must obtain and maintain Operator Qualifications (OQs) within six months and have a valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills expected for internal/external stakeholders.
• Position is safety-sensitive with pre/post-employment screenings (DOT/PHMSA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee pipeline crossings by third parties and coordinate excavations for damage prevention.
• Investigate natural gas facility damages and follow through to resolution.
• Review and reconcile invoices related to damage prevention work.
• Maintain accurate maps/records for damage prevention and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as point of contact with area excavators, municipalities, and Company personnel.
• Ensure safe operation and inspection of assigned Company vehicles and equipment.
• Adhere to Atmos Energy values and safety policies, including required safety training.
