Enbridge Inc. is seeking a Damage Prevention Inspector II to ensure safe energy delivery and reduce damage risk to assets. You will oversee Locate Service Providers, provide training, and maintain strong community relations with excavators and regulators.

The role emphasizes field operations (80%) and office work (20%), requiring travel within the region and on-call support. A related degree or extensive field experience is needed, with a base salary in the stated range.

Qualifications

• Related university degree and 2 years’ experience OR four‑plus years of previous field operations experience.
• Ability to develop and manage strong relationships and work within a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to think analytically and good organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Monitor performance levels of Locate Service Providers to ensure timely, safe and accurate locate services.
• Follow up with Locate Service Providers on corrective actions.
• Provide support for damage prevention investigations including locating reviews and claims disputes.
• Act as local liaison with regulatory bodies, Field Operations, Locate Service Providers and Insurance Services.
• Lead local damage prevention awareness sessions for the excavating community.
• Support Field Operations employees in damage prevention activities.
• Implementation and oversight of locate service offerings (e.g., Alternative Locate Agreements).
• Promote alliance and participate in geographic committees.
• Contractor management oversight of Damage Prevention Service Provider.
• Travel within the geographic area regularly; some overtime for events and meetings.
