Texas811 is seeking a Damage Prevention Agent to serve as the frontline contact in the Texas811 Contact Center. You will process locate requests, guide customers through procedures, and ensure accurate relay of excavation information.

The role emphasizes professionalism and safety, with on-site training and a potential path to remote work after 90 days. Starting pay is $18.37 per hour, with bilingual English/Spanish options at $19.29 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer service, call center, or high-volume environment.
• Basic understanding of contact center operations and multi-system workflows.
• Ability to speak, read, and type in English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Process locate requests telephonically and electronically using Texas811 systems.
• Assist customers in understanding next steps and available tools or resources.
• Maintain accuracy and meet quality standards in ticket processing and responses.
