Thalle Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a QC Project Engineer for a Dam Safety Modification project.

Located in Falls of Rough, KY, this role focuses on documenting management, redline review, and as-built development while coordinating between field operations and project management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5+ years in heavy civil construction, USACE project exposure preferred, and strong proficiency in MS Office and PDF markup tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related technical field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with USACE projects preferred.
• Demonstrated experience preparing and managing redline and as-built documentation.
• Ability to interpret complex construction plans, specifications and contract documents.
• Proficient in MS Office and PDF markup tools.

Responsabilités

• Support QC program through documentation management and redline review.
• Develop final as-built drawings and documentation packages.
• Ensure field changes are documented and incorporated into record drawings.
• Coordinate with field staff to verify work matches contracts and approved changes.
• Assist in review of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and design revisions.
• Track revisions from approved change orders and support cost/schedule impacts.
• Prepare and maintain project Quality Control documentation.
