Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a current student (Sophomore or higher) enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program.
• Able to travel to hydroelectric facilities (approx. 25% travel).
• Able to work full-time in summer (up to 40 hrs/week) and part-time during school year (up to 20 hrs/week).
• Hybrid/in-person commuting to Eau Claire, WI per policy.

Responsibilities

• Attend dam safety inspections with Operations and regulatory agencies.
• Assist in risk evaluations and prioritization for dam safety work.
• Support review of plans and specifications for dam safety projects at hydro facilities.
• Help prepare technical reports and review applicable federal requirements.
