Spicer Group is seeking a Dam Practice Lead to guide the Surface Water dam division in Georgia. You will oversee project delivery, budgets, schedules, and risk, and mentor staff while aligning with leadership.

The role emphasizes client relations, proposal input, and cross-functional collaboration. A Civil Engineering background and PE license are preferred, with 8+ years in the dam industry. Domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required in at least one state.
• Ability to travel for leadership meetings and project work.

Responsibilities

• Oversees project delivery within the Dam Practice, ensuring quality and budgets.
• Manages utilization and realization of the Dam practice.
• Supports financial performance and invoicing for technical services.
• Participates in proposals, contracts, and staffing decisions.
• Acts as Project Manager or Subject Matter Expert on dam projects.
• Mentors technical staff and aligns with leadership on goals.
