Candidates should have a BS in Civil Engineering, 4+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with geotechnical software. The base salary ranges from $90,000 to $130,000 plus potential for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• MS in Civil Engineering with geotechnical focus is preferred.
• Experience with geotechnical software such as GeoStudio is preferred.
• 4+ years of professional work experience involving dams or related structures is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills are required.
• AutoCAD and GIS proficiency are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dam and levee safety inspections and fieldwork.
• Review subsurface data to support geotechnical analyses.
• Assist in laboratory testing and parameter development for analyses.
• Execute seepage and slope stability analyses for embankment dams and levees.
• Perform finite element analyses of dams and related structures.
• Write technical memos and reports summarizing analyses and recommendations.
• Assist with design of rehabilitation projects and permit applications.
• Support proposal development and project management.
• Travel to project sites as required.
• Collaborate with contractors, clients, and team members.
