Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc. is seeking a senior investment professional to lead the Dallas-based Private Capital team. You will originate and manage senior debt, direct lending, mezzanine, and structured equity investments across the Southern U.S. region.

The role requires 8+ years in corporate finance, strong analytic and communication skills, and a track record of debt investments. Travel and leadership responsibilities are integral to the position in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Must have 8+ years in corporate finance with strong investment capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced finance credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of investment professionals responsible for originating, underwriting, and managing senior debt, direct lending, mezzanine, and structured equity investments in the Southern region of the U.S.
• Originate new senior debt and junior capital investment opportunities, typically ranging in size from $20-300+ million, across a broad range of industries and transaction types
• Structure complex and customized transactions and communicate investment recommendations to various investment committees
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, sponsors, and intermediaries within the geographic territory
• Travel to networking events, conferences, and in-person marketing meetings
• Work closely with in-house and outside counsel to structure, negotiate, and document loan agreements and process follow-on amendment requests
• Manage and develop investment professionals reporting into the Dallas office
• Work closely with the Managing Director to accomplish the objectives of the Dallas office and PGIM Private Capital overall
