Job summary

PGIM, the global asset management arm of Prudential, is seeking a senior investment professional to lead a Dallas-based team responsible for originating, underwriting, and managing senior debt, direct lending, mezzanine, and structured equity in the Southern U.S. You will originate opportunities, structure complex transactions, and build relationships with clients and intermediaries.

Travel to events is expected, and you will collaborate with counsel to document loan agreements and amendments

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the corporate finance industry.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong analytic and investment skills with experience in debt investments.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Originate, underwrite, and manage debt, direct lending, mezzanine, and structured equity investments in the Southern region of the U.S.
• Structure complex transactions and communicate investment recommendations to investment committees.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, sponsors, and intermediaries within the territory.
• Travel to networking events, conferences, and in-person marketing meetings.
• Work with counsel to structure, negotiate, and document loan agreements and amendments.
• Manage and develop investment professionals reporting into the Dallas office.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director to achieve Dallas office and PGIM Private Capital objectives.
