Job summary

Huitt-Zollars is seeking a design-focused Entry Level Architectural Designer to work part-time in our Dallas office. The role supports interior architectural projects from concept through construction administration with collaboration across Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers.

The intern will assist in design efforts and technical documentation while building a foundation in project delivery and professional practice. Office-based in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• En-route to a Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, Interior Architecture.
• Basic proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and 3D visualization tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of design concepts, programming, space planning, and detailing.
• Contribute to design studies, renderings, and presentation materials communicating design intent.
• Support preparation of material finish boards, furniture selections, and presentation materials.
• Work on multiple projects at various stages, delivering coordinated design and construction documents.
• Under supervision, prepare and modify drawings and models in Revit.
• Assist in preparation of specifications, meeting minutes, agency applications, and other project docs.
• Participate in site visits and assist with field documentation and observations.
