Job summary

Huitt-Zollars is seeking an entry-level Architectural Designer in Houston to contribute to projects from concept through construction documentation. You will collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, and project teams, developing design ideas and producing technical drawings under supervision.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, Revit-based drafting, and supporting multi-phase delivery while growing foundational professional skills in a collaborative office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, Interior Architecture from an accredited program.
• Basic proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and 3D visualization tools (Enscape, Lumion, or similar) is a plus.
• Ability to read redlines and accurately update drawings and models.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of design concepts, programming, space planning, and detailing.
• Contribute to design studies, renderings, and graphic materials that clearly communicate design intent.
• Support the preparation of material finish boards, furniture selections, and presentation materials.
