Job summary

June's All Day Cafe in Dallas is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead the opening team and shape our first impression on guests and staff. You will partner with GM and MML leadership to train front-of-house staff, set operating standards, and drive a memorable launch.

You are a proven leader with opening experience, strong hospitality instincts, beverage knowledge, and comfort with restaurant tech. This role offers a path to growth within MML Hospitality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant, upscale hotel, or premium cafe.
• Opening experience is a huge plus.
• Know the Dallas dining scene and local guest expectations.
• Solid understanding of premium coffee/espresso programs and wine/cocktails.
• Proficient with modern restaurant tech ecosystems (Toast POS, Resy, 7shifts/Sling).

Responsibilities

• Launch Leadership: onboard, train FOH, and set initial standards for a new opening.
• Floor General: lead service on high-volume opening weeks with grace.
• All-Day Pivot: manage the shift from breakfast to wine-forward dinner and late-night lounge.
• Team Building: recruit, train, and mentor a diverse FOH team.
• Financial & Operational Execution: optimize labor, manage beverage and paper stock, uphold standards.
