Qualifications

• Senior Manager to Director-level experience in Balance Sheet Management, Treasury, or ALM.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills; Python or R experience is a significant plus.
• In-depth knowledge of financial instruments: variable/fixed-rate loans, MBS/CMO, interest rate swaps, caps/floors, and FHLB advances.
• Deep familiarity with FFIEC IRR guidance, Basel III liquidity standards, and DFAST/stress testing concepts.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in bank ALM, Treasury, or Balance Sheet Management at a financial institution with $10B+ in assets.
• Target Management Level: Proven track record running full ALM cycles and interacting directly with the CFO, ALCO, executive leadership, and regulatory examiners.
• Accounting/ALM ERP Systems: Proficiency in Empyrean ALM software (Finastra) is REQUIRED (running scenarios, maintaining assumptions, and producing reports). Experience with Empyrean FTP module, QRM, or equivalent transfer pricing systems is also REQUIRED.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a quantitative field required.
• Certifications / Advanced Degrees: CFA, FRM, or MBA strongly preferred (plus).

Responsibilities

• Own monthly EVE and NII rate shock and scenario analyses; present results and clear risk narratives to ALCO and executive leadership.
• Maintain and enhance the ALM model in Empyrean (Finastra), governing deposit betas, decay rates, prepayment speeds, and repricing assumptions.
• Lead periodic model validations in coordination with Model Risk and document all changes per SR 11-7.
• Own and administer the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework, including curve construction, rate setting, and monthly P&L reporting for non-technical stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain liquidity stress testing, CFP, net funding gap analyses, and monitor contingent liquidity sources (FHLB, Fed Discount Window, Brokered CDs).
• Prepare monthly ALCO packages and board-level risk reporting; ensure regulatory compliance with SR Letter 10-6, SR 11-7, and FDIC FIL-2-2012.
• Serve as the primary contact for regulatory examinations (Federal Reserve, FDIC) regarding IRR and liquidity methodologies.
• Build supplemental validation tools in Excel and/or Python to support ad-hoc analytics and Empyrean outputs.
