ICON is redefining the built environment through robotics and advanced materials. We seek a Director of Business Development to architect our expansion across Dallas-Fort Worth, positioning ICON’s technology as the premier solution for visionary developers and institutional capital.

This role reports to the VP, Real Estate and Sales and is located in Dallas/Ft.Worth. You will lead market strategy, build a high-impact executive network, and own opportunities from idea through contract,

Qualifications

10+ years of high-performance experience in Business Development or Real Estate Development.
Deep understanding of Dallas-Fort Worth real estate fundamentals (land use, costs).
Technical literacy to discuss robotics, architecture, advanced materials.
Strong network of local developers, investors, and architectural influencers.
Bachelor’s degree; MBA/MRED preferred; AI proficiency required.

Responsibilities

Identify and penetrate market segments benefiting from ICON’s robotics and materials.
Lead regional Go/No-Go process vetting opportunities against capabilities and criteria.
Cultivate a deep ecosystem of developers, investors, and architects.
Own deal lifecycle from initial visioning to signed contract and handoff.
Advise stakeholders on ROI, sustainability, and de-risking of automated construction.
Negotiate Design-Build terms aligned with ICON requirements.
Navigate permitting hurdles with AHJs and differentiate ICON’s offerings.
