Job summary

Bunge is hiring a Crush Utility Worker in Decatur, Alabama. The role supports daily plant operations, including cleaning, data collection, and inventory tracking, on 12-hour rotating shifts. You will train on plant processes and assist with loading operations to keep production flowing.

Responsibilities

• Routinely perform product clean-up in any area of the facility.
• Collect product samples at the direction of plant supervisors.
• Assist in rail, barge and truck loading operations.
• Monitor product inventories in plant storage facilities.
• Operate facility equipment.
• Complete training on warehouse management, DAF System, and unloading of palm trucks.
• Must report all food safety and quality issues to proper authority to resolve issue.
• Other duties as assigned.

A Day in the Life:

The Crush Utility Worker maintains cleanliness of all equipment and plant areas including buildings and grounds. At the direction of supervisors, collect data and track product inventory. Train on plant processes and procedures.

Position Details:

12 hour rotating shifts including holidays

Pay: $26.59 an hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Routinely perform product clean-up in any area of the facility
• Collect product samples at the direction of plant supervisors
• Assist in rail, barge and truck loading operations
• Monitor product inventories in plant storage facilities
• Operate facility equipment
• Completion of training requirements regarding warehouse management, DAF System, and unloading of palm trucks.
• Must report all food safety and quality issues to proper authority to resolve issue
• Other duties as assigned
