Job summary

Bunge is hiring a Loader (extraction) at the Decatur, Indiana plant. The role focuses on safely loading soybean meal for trucks and rail cars in the crush department, with attention to paperwork and data entry in the plant's computer system.

Candidates must be able to work weekends/holidays, lift and work at heights, and maintain strict safety standards. Prior industrial experience and basic computer skills are preferred assets for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular checks and make adjustments on equipment as needed.
  • Must maintain food safety culture and report concerns.
  • Assist other operators as needed.
  • Follow good manufacturing practices.

A Day in the Life

This position is located in the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Decatur, IN. The Loader (extraction) is responsible for safely and efficiently loading trucks and rail cars with soybean meal in the crush department.

Position Details

40 hour week. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays

Pay: $30.99 an hour

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Move rail cars by operating a switch engine
  • Load soybean meal and other products in trucks and rail cars
  • Fill out all paperwork in accordance with department procedures
  • Operator computer system to input customer and product information
  • Perform regular checks and make adjustments on equipment as neededMust have a commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site’s food safety management system, and comply with customer and regulatory requirements
  • Report any concerns with safe food practices
  • Assist other operators as needed
  • Follow good manufacturing practices
Minimum Qualifications
