Job summary

Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI) seeks an experienced leader to direct all warehouse operations at our Blair, WI facility.

You will optimize capacity, drive the Master Production Schedule, and coordinate raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to support efficient production. You will monitor adherence to schedules, manage safety and quality programs, and maintain ERP inventories while building strong partnerships with brand owners and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing preferred
• Five years’ experience in dairy or food production
• Three years of supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (JDE or Oracle)
• Working knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory control
• Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, OSHA and loss control programs desirable
• Experience installing and maintaining warehouse inventory systems

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all warehouse operations, optimizing capacity and floor utilization
• Develop and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) for assigned value streams
• Plan raw materials, WIP and finished goods to support pull systems
• Audit equipment, processes, and procedures for effectiveness and efficiency
• Monitor schedule adherence and plan attainment
• Identify material risks and coordinate resolution
• Coordinate 3rd party warehousing as required
• Maintain relationships with customers, vendors, transportation entities
• Lead safety, loss control, food safety and quality systems
• Lead investigations and corrective actions
• Manage inventories in ERP and resolve discrepancies
• Build strong working relationships with brand owner leadership teams
