Job summary

Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI) in Blair, Wisconsin, seeks a Plant Manager to lead operations across production, quality, and safety.

You will oversee staff, manage budgets, and ensure SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards while driving efficiency and on-time production. The role requires a degree in management or related field, at least five years in dairy production with supervisory experience, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Five years dairy or food production experience.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements preferred.
• Experience with Oracle ERP or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, OSHA and loss control programs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality specifications for milk, whey, and cheese production.
• Maintain accurate and complete production records and charts.
• Lead audits and drive continuous improvement for SQF Level 2 program.
• Manage equipment and processes to reduce downtime and costs.
• Supervise staff including interviewing, training, and performance reviews.
• Ensure safety policies, be on call as needed.
