Job summary

Leprino Foods Company, a global leader in the dairy industry, seeks a dedicated Quality Execution Technician to join our team in Waverly, NY. You will monitor product quality from raw materials to finished product, upload results to our database, and communicate findings to production and management teams.

SOPs, safe chemical handling, and precise recordkeeping are required. The Lab Technician will work a relief/floater schedule in a 24/7 operation with shifts 4a-4p or 4p-4a; weekend/holiday

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work Sundays to Saturdays, including nights and holidays as needed.
• Demonstrated accuracy in completing work tasks.
• Able to read, write and perform basic math.
• Understand chemicals and interpret data.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Test product performance and present results to management.
• Advise on out-of-spec conditions and place product on hold.
• Collect, document, and ship samples with proper records.
• Perform pH, moisture, fat, solids, and other chemical analyses.
• Operate Cryoscope and pH meter for milk samples.
• Ensure GMP compliance and keep records up to date.
• Maintain safety procedures and PPE compliance.
• Interact with production and warehouse for samples and results.
