Job summary

Lactalis US Yogurt, Inc. in Londonderry, NH is seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician to perform timely evaluations of raw materials, products, and processes supporting the efficient manufacture and shipment of quality products.

Qualified applicants will have an Associate degree or equivalent (5 years experience), 3+ years in the food industry, and strong knowledge of milk and dairy science, HACCP, and GMP.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (5 years) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of milk and dairy product science and technology.
• Proficiency in applying statistical principles to manage metrology, monitor method accuracy, and validate routine versus reference methods.
• Understanding of food safety systems with the ability to support and champion quality initiatives (e.g., HACCP certification, ISO registration) and assist in the quality launch of new projects, equipment, and products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to quality standards, including the pasteurized milk ordinance and state regulations.
• Enforce company Quality policies, GMP compliance, and Food Safety standards.
• Assure the accuracy of all food safety records and documents.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver Quality, Food Safety, and HACCP training for all employees.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance on new installations and equipment updates for sanitary design and compliance with food safety programs.
• Partner with Manufacturing to minimize quality loss and boost productivity while upholding all food safety standards.
