Job summary

Darigold is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Boise plant to lead the assigned production shift, coordinate activities, and drive safety, reliability, and quality. The role focuses on maximizing productivity while fostering teamwork and continuous improvement across the line.

You will mentor operators, monitor schedules, and ensure proper documentation while collaborating with maintenance, engineering, and QA to sustain high performance and compliance with GMPs and HACCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Dairy manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to work in a team environment and with varying backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for the assigned production shift and personnel.
• Coordinate activities for processing and production to meet objectives.
• Motivate, train, and communicate with shift teams to ensure safety and quality.
• Balance labor and production to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Diagnose equipment issues and work with maintenance on scheduling and fixes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure GMP/SOP adherence.
