Job summary

Darigold in Sunnyside, WA is seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to lead the assigned production shift. You will supervise and train teams to uphold safety, reliability, sanitation and product quality.

We value collaboration with Engineering and QA staff; you will troubleshoot issues, develop team skills, and drive continuous improvement. A BS in a related field is preferred and experience in dairy/processing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Food Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Industry leadership experience is a plus for those without a degree.
• Dairy, beverage or process industry background would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for the assigned production shift and personnel; motivate, train and communicate to assure safety, reliability, sanitation and quality.
• Conduct team meetings and collaborate with Engineering and QA staff to foster cooperation.
• Develop expert knowledge of production processes and equipment; troubleshoot issues and develop the team to be self-directed.
• Perform daily checks and reports to ensure high product quality within GMPs; maintain shift performance documentation.
• Lead SPC project teams to improve safety, quality, reliability and reduce waste.
• Communicate issues to management promptly and maintain urgency during production runs.
