Job summary

Darigold, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor in Boise to lead the assigned production shift, supervise workers, and coordinate production activities. The role focuses on safety, reliability, quality, and continuous improvement within the Operations Division.

The candidate should bring a BS in a related field and dairy manufacturing experience, with strong communication and leadership abilities. On-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• Dairy manufacturing experience is required.
• Must be able to obtain and/or maintain certifications in Receiving, Antibiotic Testing, CHARM testing and any other regulatory agency requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment (as well as independently).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for the assigned production shift and personnel.
• Supervises, coordinates, and monitors activities of workers in processing and production.
• Mobilize plant personnel to achieve plant objectives.
• Motivate, train, and communicate with shift teams to ensure safety, reliability, sanitation, and quality.
• Develop production process knowledge and troubleshoot manufacturing issues with the team.
