Job summary

LGI Foundation is seeking a Packaging Operator for the night shift (4:00 PM – 4:00 AM) to help run packaging, weigh and blend powder, and track finished goods. You will label products, maintain records, and support raw inventory handling in a fast-paced dairy production plant.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and about one year of related work. Benefits include 3 weeks PTO, 10 holidays, a floating holiday, medical/dental/vision, and 401k match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year stable work experience in dairy, agriculture, production, or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain production equipment following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging and palletizing equipment and adjust as needed.
• Bag and blend finished powder; weigh, sample, seal, and palletize.
• Label and use inventory system for finished product per specs.
• Maintain logs of quality checks and verifications.
• Unload/receive raw inventory; manage silos and inventory records.
• Operate dryers and production equipment; monitor temps and flows.
• Assist maintenance and support basic analytical testing on products.
• Keep a clean, safe work area and follow HACCP, GMP, SSOP, SQF.
