Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Line Lead to set up and oversee production lines and attendants, ensuring time and safety standards are met.

This role requires directing staff, maintaining compliance with GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and H&S, and keeping accurate production records. The successful candidate will supervise line personnel, ensure on-schedule production, and uphold high quality and sanitary standards across the plant environment.

Qualifications

• Line Lead should oversee production lines and line attendants while meeting time and safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and H&S procedures is required.
• Excellent communication, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and H&S.
• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities within the department.
• Supervise production lines to ensure orders are completed correctly and on schedule.
• Perform recordkeeping tasks, including inventory management and order tracking.
• Maintain a safe and orderly workspace that adheres to industry standards.
• Perform quality checks and report issues to supervisor.
• Monitor finished product quality and maintain sanitary equipment/ facility.
• Read and comprehend production worksheets.
• Keep area neat, clean, and organized; minimize downtime.
• Attend mandatory safety and departmental meetings.
• Sanitize lines when needed.
• Enter data on production reports.
