Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to directly supervise production staff, plan and direct work, and ensure safety and quality across shifts.

You will coordinate schedules, monitor performance, and implement improvements to meet production goals while complying with OSHA regulations and company policies. The role requires GMP familiarity, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment preferred.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas.
• Plan, assign and direct work; address product and employee complaints; resolve problems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations and applicable laws.
• Coordinate and monitor work with plant management and other supervisors.
• Ensure procedures are in place for production efficiency, product quality, and employee safety.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and adjust machines as needed.
• Coordinate production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements.
• Maintain time and production records; complete required paperwork.
